Professional Recognition - Graduates of the MSc in Global Supply Chain Management are granted full exemption from the Qualifying Examination of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong.
- Graduates of the PgD in Global Supply Chain Management are granted partial exemption from the Qualifying Examination of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong.
- Graduates of the MSc in Global Supply Chain Management are granted accreditation by The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) and may apply for full membership, when having taken several subjects in the programme.
Programme Details For the MSc: 30 credits (1 Compulsory + 4 Cores + 5 Electives) For the PgD: 18 credits (1 Compulsory + 4 Cores + 1 Elective) * The offering of subjects is subject to class quota availability. Students at MSc level are allowed to choose 1 Elective, equivalent to 3 credits, from the GSB Common Pool to fulfill the Elective requirements of the programme. Students should strictly comply with the prescriptions of the programme curriculum when performing subject registration. Those who fail to meet the programme requirements will NOT be allowed to graduate.
Credit transfer/exemption will not be granted for subjects chosen from the GSB Common Pool, unless the Elective Subject concerned falls within the programme curriculum. Please note that not all subjects will be offered every year and registration is subject to the availability of quota. Please refer to the AS's Student Page for subject details (e.g. subject syllabus, offering semester, class timetable). Duration For the MSc: Normally completed within 2.5 years. The maximum period of study is 5 years. For the PgD: Normally completed within 1.5 years. The maximum period of study is 3 years. Entrance Requirements - An honours Bachelor's degree in business-related discipline or equivalent.
- For non-business degree holders, 2-year relevant working experience or relevant background knowledge is required.
- Candidates in senior management positions possessing other academic qualifications may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Priority will be given to applicants with relevant working experience.
